The Community Needs Your Help This Holiday Season

Did you know that there are often needs of people in our community that go unseen? Recently some local community minded individuals became aware of a local first responder (and family) here in Gardner that could use a little help this holiday season. Money, gift cards or even services are needed. If you are inclined to help, please email info@gardneredgerton.org for more information and we will connect you with those providing the needed support.

The holiday season is a time of joy for most families. But we realize not everyone is as fortunate. Reminders are all around us. We read about it online. We see it in the lines at the Harvester's monthly food distribution at Divine Mercy. We hear about the increased usage of the local food pantry. We field requests about utility assistance. The list goes on. The Chamber typically focuses it's efforts on the needs of the business community, but we're not oblivious to the needs of our residents either. While we cannot directly help in most circumstances, we often are able to connect individuals and businesses with the resources they need most. We invite you to contact us any time you are not sure where to turn. There's no guarantee we have the answer, but we'll do our best to find those resources.

In the meantime, don't forget about these resources this holiday season.
