New Century Air Center Admission is free for the general public
FISH KC The event theme "Salute, Recruit, and Retention" is free to the public. To our soldiers, we see it as an opportunity to boost morale, retain, and assist. To the public, it is a recruiting foremost, as well as to learn, recognize, and show appreciation
for the daily sacrifices our soldiers endure domestically and overseas in the toughest elements. Admission is free for the general public. We are partnering with the Active, Reserve, and Guard component so that this can be one of their annual city-wide recruiting platforms. The Army is bringing assets to the table to task from a STEM trailer, vehicles, unmanned aerial systems from Fort Riley, an Aid Station, and other MOS exhibits. Some of the assets attending for static display are an A-10 Thunderbolt, a UH-60 Black Hawk, CH-47 Chinook, many current and restored military vehicles. The Special Forces Black Dagger Skydiving Team and 2 Army bands will perform: Iowa Street and Loaded Brass will perform as will Damien Gunn and Phil Vandel .FISH will be presenting a Service Dog and also a Tracked Wheelchair to a disabled veteran. We will also have several of the cities finest food trucks to serve the anticipated 5,000 attendees.Armed Forces Day
