Candidate Opening Remarks (up to 2 minutes each)
Moderated Q&A (up to 1½ minutes apiece for each candidate to respond)
Candidate Closing Remarks (up to 1 minute each)
The format is very straightforward - there will be no formal rebuttal time, no follow-up questions, or audience participation. A timekeeper will be provided to ensure speaking time is fair and to keep the event on schedule. Speaking order will rotate between candidates throughout the forum after initially being established by drawing numbers.
The Q&A questions will be prepared in advance and no questions will be taken from the audience. The forum is sponsored by business organizations and questions will focus on issues of interest to the local business community.
