913.826.4600 Do you write poems to tell what happened or to find out what happened? To share what you know or to find out what you know? To ask a question or provide an answer? Following up on the craft talk, this interactive workshop will provide participants a framework to consider the ways in which they engage (or disengage) from wonder in their poetic process. We will review a variety of examples to better understand methods of approach and leave with new ways to look at what is available as “subject matter.” This program will be hosted using the meeting software Zoom. A Johnson County Library staff member will contact registrants via the email you registered with the day of the program with instructions on how to access the Zoom meeting. You do not need to download any software or create an account.Workshop: extension of the lecture “Wonder and Transformation in Poetry”
